Spring Is Almost Here...?

Well.. we're finally seeing some sunshine (hurray!) and the flowers are all beginning to push their way through once again! Its amazing how much inspiration these little coloured petals give us and we are creating the most beautiful new range of jewellery, tiaras and fairy wands.. all designs inspired by our garden!

We've had a very busy period over christmas and are now looking forward to THE busiest time of year.. spring and summer weddings! Our new range includes lots of vintage style beaded flowers, pearls and lace... all perfect for romantic, country garden weddings! We will also be adding a new range of floral buntings, perfect to set the scene! We  have a few ideas in mind for laid back beachy themed weddings too... (Bunny's decided she wants to be a mermaid when she grows up so the house has become a beach obsessed zone.. perfect for inspiring ideas)!

We look forward to making and creating all these pieces for you... if you're planning your wedding at the moment we hope your ideas are flowing thick and fast and we will hopefully be hearing from you soon!

Take care and keep busy..

Happy Belated New Year!

We've been so busy here at Bunny Loves Evie over the past few months that we've not had the time to blog!!

Carol's signs have now become so popular that she is now selling on www.notonthehighstreet.com/pottingsheddesigns and is doing very well indeed! Shes a very talented lady and is really touched by the postive and complimentry comments she is receiving from customers!

We are now in our third year and the business is going from strength to strength. We are excited at the new lines we have been creating and are working to get them online as soon as possible.

Congratulations to all of you that got engaged at christmas and we look forward to hearing from all you brides at Valentines!!

New Website!

Well, we are proud and very excited to announce that our wooden signs that we sell here on Bunny Loves Evie are proving so popular that we have decided to set up a sister site to just sell the wooden signs from! We have so many different designs that there just isnt enough room to put them all on here so Carol (the talented one who crafts the wooden signs from scratch) has been nominated to manage the new site while I continue to oversee Bunny Loves Evie! We will continue to sell a small range of them from this site but a new, vast range will be available from our new site so please do check it out.

The new site will be called English Country Garden and can be found at www.englishcountrygarden.org.uk. It is currently under construction but we hope to have it up and running very soon. Please check our homepage for its launch date!

Happy Birthday To You!

July has seen our darling little Evie turn 5 and we've had a weekend full of celebrations for her!The girls dont need any encouragement to visit their favourite place so it seemed the most obvious place to go to have Evie's party... the ceramic cafe!

We took the girls to Rainbow ceramic cafe for a couple of hours of non stop painting..and they've created some wonderful pieces to show for their time there! They took along their friend and they all opted to paint and design a new dinner plate and they all painted very different things! Charlotte decided to paint a very full and busy piece, covered in spots and faces whilst Evie chose an abstract, colourful design. Bunny (as the eldest we decided) painted a beautiful bumble bee flying in a clouded sky. All three were truly gorgous and they were all very proud of themselves!!

We then all went back to Evie's house for a fairy tea party, chocolate fountain and presents! We had planned a day of games in the garden but as usual, the great British weather let us down again so we had to rethink! Bumble, the rabbit had been looking forward to gettin involved with the celebrations in the garden but he too ended up disapointed! But Evie had a fabulous time with her favourite cousin and best friend... the chocolate fountain just topped the day off lovely and the party went on well into the early evening!!

Summer Hols!!

We're finally into the summer holidays!! The girls have finished school for 6 lovely long weeks that are going to be full of long lazy days and hopefully lots of bright sunny sunshine! We had a fantastic finish to the term by having a fairy's tea party with Bunny and her friends! We had a lovely sunny day and four little fairies floating round the garden.. perfectly dressed for a tea party with fairy wands and tiaras! The tea party started out that way anyway but by the time the chocolate fountain and strawberries were finished.. the fairy dresses weren't quite so clean and the tiaras weren't quite so straight! But a fun day was had by all and hopefully there will be many more to come over the next few weeks!

Bunny's already been inspired by the sun and the bright, beautiful flowers that have filled the garden and she's been busy designing and creating her own range of jewellery that we will hopefully be adding to the website in the next few weeks.. jewellery for little girls, designed by a little girl! Shes brimming with ideas and is proving to be a very talented little girl! We will add photo's soon!

Carol has also been soo busy with the wooden sign making side of the business that her bespoke order book is full and she now has a five week waiting list (which is testament to how beautiful they are that people are prepared to wait that long for them)! So we must now say a massive thank you to you all for your loyalty and we thank you for your orders! We've been so busy with not only the tiaras and fairy wands but we have had a large number of orders for bunting (for newborn babies) and Carol has even made signs for Castle Howard stately home over the past couple of weeks! She has now been commissioned to work her magic on some antique furniture on the Castle Howard estate which has been a huge honour for us! Her wooden signs are now so popular that she is also selling them on ebay so if you fancy a look, you might just be able to grab yourself a bargain!

Well, we must crack on now with our orders.. fingers crossed for all our brides out there that it stays dry and the sun shines bright on your special day! Take care and stay happy!

April already! The weather has been fab and we're busy with the wedding orders as I speak!

Lots of you are getting married, renewing your vows, getting engaged (romantic lot!) and we have been keeping up with orders - just! Thank you so much for all the feedback from the site! Thank you for your orders and refferals-we appreciate this soooooooooooooo much!

We took a break in March and there are photos of Bunny and Evie on the beach enjoying the sunshine just to prove it!

We have been taking bespoke orders for tiaras and jewellery and also been very productive with the housewares part of the business-lots of signs, plaques and fairies (they never get to the webpage because they are already spoken for! More to come though-these are hand made (our own creations) as everything is that we sell!

1st November!

Were into November and the temperature has dropped somewhat outside but it's rising inside as we turn our creative thoughts towards Christmas, our favourite time of the year!

Kelly (Bunny's mum) decided that she wasn't busy or entertained enough with designing and creating jewellery and tiaras for the site as well as looking after a six year old- and in the midst of a house extension, so she broke her ankle (ha ha sorry Kel-just my sense of humour!). Kristan (Evie's mum)has also decided to have her tonsils removed which at 28 is not as straight forward as if she was a child! All in all it's very very busy here at 'BUNNY LOVE EVIE' as we rush to finish the many orders placed already(a big thank you to all our loyal customers!).

Please keep watching the site as we are adding some new creations  over the next few days, especially the homewares section -there will also be a new 'tiara of the month' when Kelly manages to hobble to her laptop!

Bunny and Evie have been getting in on the act and are busy creating their very own Christmas decorations for their school fayre (you can't start crafting too young we say!)

Well that's all for now-I'll keep you posted about Kelly and Kristan's recovery and to all of you out there who might be recovering in some way-KEEP STRONG!

Wishing you all a healthy, happy November-stay safe at any firework displays!

Love from us all at Bunny loves Evie xxxxxxxxxx

At last!

Well here we are again, October already!

Where has this year gone? We have been so busy with orders and getting the website up and running that we haven't had as much time to blog as we would have liked!

This summer has seen Bunny turn 6 and Evie turn 4 bless them, they are growing into lovely little fairies and adore each other so much! Thankfully Evie started the same school as Bunny this year so they are really pleased about that!

What have they been up to? well, Evie had a birthday and chose a lovely old tea room from the 1950's as the venue! Tom and Jerry was the theme as Evie can be a bit of a tomboy! The party went well and we had face paints flowing with lots of little jerries and toms!!!! It was a scorching hot day and a good choice of venue as there was a lake beside the tearoom and a small waterfall.

Therefore it seemed a good choice to have Bunny's party there too.....or so you would think! 1st September! the heavens opened a couple of days before and by the party day the park lake was flooded so that the park was closed off to the public!!!Great!

We got to the park and were told that it was closed off so we started to contact everyone...then the keeper relented and said we could enter as long as we kept to the cafe (on a higher plane so to speak lol) and didn't go near the water's edge....

...back to the phonecalls and telling everyone it was ON again! We got into the cafe with 10 mins to spare, in which to set up the decor and get the music set up, games in situ etc...

Kelly had taken her ipod with lots of music for the little ones on in order to play musical games etc. The ipod crashed.....and the 30 children started to turn up as we were still attaching the tinsel curtains (water-mermaid theme) to the walls and doors.....arrghh!

We are not ones to give up so we managed to source a boombox from the park keeper and used that!

By the time we got the music sorted, the pirates were having a tug of war with the mermaids with the tinsel curtains (yes, the ones that we'd just neatly taped in place!) and enjoying themselves much more than they would with a game of musical fish (as planned)!

We can laugh about it now but you would never believe how two parties in EXACTLY the same place could be so different due to unforseen circumstances!!! All I can say is YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY it was a success despite everything!!!

I must say a big well done here to Kelly who has never ceased to amaze everyone with her creations... she has taken many brides' ideas and dreams this year and turned them into truly magical, bespoke pieces-from tiaras to haircombs and fairywands for the bridesmaids....the brides have been so pleased and very grateful!

We are in the process of adding some lovely handmade items to the website-very bespoke and magical so keep watching this space!!!
